During the pandemic of 2020, the usually heavily traveled highways around Toronto were suddenly mostly deserted as stay-at-home orders kept many people off the roads. Some took that as their call to the open roads and police north of the city were flooded with calls over street racing. One thing John Travolta and his buddies in the T-Birds, his group of leather jacket-wearing greasers, didn’t have to contend with was police helicopters with infrared, thermal imaging and night vision cameras.
