The Rimba Collective strives to allocate US$1 billion to protect and restore 500,000 hectares of forests, enhancing the livelihoods of 32,000 locals in the rural areas of Southeast Asia over 30 years.
Since the initiative was launched in 2021 with the help of our Founding Partners—Unilever, P&G, PepsiCo, and Nestlé—we already begun the groundwork with three projects in Kalimantan, Indonesia, where our transformative financial model that integrates sustainable funds for forest conservation into supply chains is starting to be implemented.
We are excited about this progress and looking forward to sharing with you what has been happening in our projects as well as our plans in 2023 with other commodities and geographical areas.
